LFD Home Furnishings – Terms of Service

    Introduction At LFD Homefurnishings, we are committed to your satisfaction. We understand that purchasing home goods can be a big decision, so our knowledgeable staff is available to help you select the right items before purchase. If a return or exchange is necessary, we strive to make the process as clear and smooth as possible.

    These Terms of Service govern your purchase and use of products from LFD Homefurnishings. They do not limit or waive any rights you may have under federal or Texas consumer protection laws, including implied warranties and the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

    Returns and Exchanges To be eligible for a return, items must be:

    • In unused, like-new condition
    • In original packaging (if applicable)
    • Accompanied by proof of purchase

    Returns must be requested within 3 days of delivery or pickup. All returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%, which will be disclosed to you in advance. Restocking fees are not charged for defective items or those returned due to seller error.

    Special Order Items, Gas Appliances, Clearance Items, and Mattresses are generally non-returnable, unless:

    • The item is damaged or defective upon delivery; or
    • A return is approved by the manufacturer under warranty terms

    Defective or Damaged Items If your item is damaged or defective:

    • You must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery or pickup
    • We will inspect the item or schedule a certified technician (as  equired)
    • Approved defective items may be repaired, exchanged, or refunded at our discretion, in compliance with manufacturer warranty terms

    Mattresses cannot be returned if the law tag is removed or if the item shows stains or signs of use, per health regulations. However, if the defect is reported within 48 hours and meets warranty conditions, we will assist in submitting a claim to the manufacturer.

    Pick-Up Policy If you choose to pick up your purchase, please inspect all items before leaving. Once items leave our dock:

    • Responsibility for damage transfers to the customer
    • Furniture, bedding, and accessories picked up in-store are generally not returnable unless clearly defective at time of pickup

    We strongly recommend using our delivery service, which includes in-home setup and inspection.

    Delivery Terms Please ensure that items will fit through all entryways and into your desired space. Delivery personnel cannot move existing furniture.

    • A second delivery fee may apply if delivery is unsuccessful due to space constraints or inaccessibility.
    • You must report any delivery-related damage within 48 hours.

    Refunds Once your return is received and approved:

    • A refund will be issued to your original method of payment
    • Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to LFD error or a product defect
    • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days

    Exchanges We will replace items only if they are defective and meet warranty conditions. All exchanges must be pre-approved by our service team.

    Legal Disclosures Nothing in this policy waives or limits your rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, the Uniform Commercial Code, or federal laws such as the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. You may be entitled to additional remedies if products are misrepresented, defective, or fail to meet reasonable consumer expectations.
