This range is absolutely beautiful in my newly remodeled kitchen! The features are amazing as well. The only complaint about the Air Fryer mode is that it takes longer than what we are used to. We owned a small phillips air fryer and got used to how quick it would cook. This range's air fryer tends to take longer and so we are still adjusting. Other than that, it will not disappoint you. Easy to use as well.

We are pleased with the purchase of the Samsung Duo range but have several items of concern. First is the glass cook top - it is too easy to scratch and is difficult to polish to get the smudges removed. We have purchased special cleaning supplies and it does help. Second is we have a service call for the Duo oven divider not activating as needed and have waited two weeks for a call from the assigned service company and I cannot even get a return call to my voicemails. This may be an isolated poor company. Overall it has been good.

We've had this rang for a few months now and are very pleased with the various features, along with the double oven capability. Some areas that could be more useful: - The control knob lighting is poor. Settings are impossible to see clearly. - When cleaning around the controls, everything comes on, even though there is no intent to use the controls. Likewise, whenever the oven door is opened, even if just to place something in the oven. - The fan in the convection oven is a bit noisy. - The upper oven has to be used as a convection oven only.

I updated my old Samsung range with this range and so far so good. It looks sharp and I like the features included, even though I have not used them all yet, such as the air fryer. With the oven divider in, the bottom portion is somewhat useless. Finding a place for the divider when pulled out is also a bit of a headache. One concern I do have is the vent on the back of the stove top. I'm worried food or other things will fall down the vent and it doesn't seem like an easy process to clean.

Stove Is not Compatible with the hoood

to keep a long story short... samsung put out a product in the same color scheme, yet does not make the range blue tooth compatible. i did a complete kitchen makeover for a relative and we purchased everything refi, range and hood from samsung. when it came down to it, the range was not bluetooth capable enough to pair to the hood. $10,000 later we have a fridge you can talk to but a hood that turns on manually; when the hood has bluetooth capabilities. the electric range costs way too much for its short coming, and ive made enough phone calls to samsung where the time on the call cost me billable hours just to trouble shoot something thay seems impossible according to them. way to drop the ball samsung!

Glass top cracked from heat

i bought our electric flex duo (freestanding) in late october/early november of 2017. about a year ago our hot burner warning light cam on (left side) and stayed on. about two weeks ago i was cooking something on the front left burner. i removed the pan from the burner without turning the burner off and after about 1.5-2 minutes i heard a pop. startle me as i was standing right next to the range. the glass top had cracked. don't believe i ever saw a warning about that. it is out of warranty and replacing will cost around $400 parts and labor. the model number is ne59j7850wg/aa

so far so good; range delivered last week, and seems to work as expected. took some research to figure out how to access some of the features (air fry). didn't realize, at first, that you needed to take out the oven divider to access the air fryer functionality. this wasn't listed in the owner's manual (that i could find). had to contact samsung while problem shooting. looks nice, and otherwise seems to work as advertised.

I like that you can setup the oven to cook it as one big oven or to cook different items at two different temperatures. It does take some getting used to the cooking time from my previous gas oven. This one is electric. It needs to come with instructions on the functions and how to use it. Mine did not come with them and we had to figure out how to use it ourselves. I am very happy with how fast the oven hits up; the stove top as well. There are plenty of places to put pots and pans on the stove top. I love the illuminated dials. The stove top controls take some getting use too. I have not used the voice controls, but my girlfriend has used her Apple Watch or phone to turn the oven on and off.

I am the cook in my home and this is awesome! I absolutely love cooking on this stove. It cooks evenly and efficiently. I use to have issues with cooking on my old stove because the it would cook only one side of the food thoroughly and the other side would hardly be cooked. I also like the air fryer on this over. Who knew air fried turkey tasted so good? Well, it does. I am here to say it. The most impressive thing on this stove is WIFI features. I preheat the oven from my phone using the SmartThings app. That is awesome! When it is done preheating, I receive alert on my Samsung Television. Wow! And, clean up is also great. Love the fingerprint less stainless steel!

The Samsung difference

So far I have mostly used the top half-oven option with the easy glide out rack for broiling and convection baking. Using less energy and heat the top oven reaches its temperature so quickly and efficiently! The fast boil on the range top boiled water in just over a minute, Which is simply amazing. I love the Wifi connectivity to monitor the time and temp while baking and having the ability for turning off the oven remotely when done. The oven is a dual door oven, a convection oven and has an air fry option. When baking in both ovens at the same time, there is no transfer of smell from one meal to the other and both ovens held their heat individually. One of my favorite features is that it has the option of having both ovens turn off after cook time is completed. Hands down one of the best stoves I've ever used. The technology and design is top notch!

Love the ease of this oven

Let me first say that I am a fan of all smart home products and this oven / stove really hit it out of the park. The app for it is so easy to use and I love being able to continue what I am doing and monitor the oven. We recently remodeled our kitchen and love the way the stove/ oven ended up looking in our kitchen. It really updated it and made it look so classy. My favorite feature the bread feature on the oven. I am a huge bread maker and we like to keep our home cold so finding a warm spot in our home can be hard but with this oven having a bread feature it makes bread rising an easy process. The air fryer feature has saved me so much time with cooking and has made my teenage kids enjoy cooking more too. It heats up super fast and cooks super fast. It has boosted my teenagers creativity in cooking as they are more eager to try more recipes now.

I love this range

I use SmartThings to automate my house already, so adding the oven to my house in the app was really simple. I haven't been and probably wont be much of a delayed start user, but I do appreciate the notification to my phone when cooking is finished, and also being able to check the status of the oven from my phone or tablet. It took me a while to figure out that removing the oven divider added several additional cook modes, and i still haven't been able to test them all out, but air fry and convection bake are two of my favorite so far. I am really excited to try dehydrate and see what can be done with that mode. For the cooktop, i use the same brand of cleaner and same pots and pans as i did with my last one and things have gone great so far. The warmer station is a really useful to me. The heating surface size is selectable by turning the dial to the appropriate size and desired heating level, small, medium and large each have their own low to high section of the dial. It took a little getting used to at first, but i am getting the hang of it now. With the controls being on the front of the oven, its nice not to have to reach over and around boiling pots to turn on or adjust the heating surface. All and all, this is a beautiful and capable appliance that gives me the flexibility to cook better and healthier

I received my new range one week ago and I am beyond impressed. There are a ton of features that make the cooking experience very enjoyable. My favorites include the air fry and convection settings that cooked my week night dinners with efficiency that I've never experienced on a range like this before. Its not very noisy however the sound settings for the timer could stand to be louder. The back lit stove top knobs are great for cooking in a low light setting. It's sleek innovative design makes it fit right into my kitchen with ease. Baking had been more enjoyable because of the convection setting and dual door. Baking dessert and a casserole for dinner is great because I can control the time the oven goes on and off, keeps warm, or how hot it is all from my phone with the built in technology. The sleek glass stove top is stunning. The warming center is the best feature of all.

In the midst of a total home rehad, this black stainless steel duo range showed up to our door. We finally got a chance to use the air fryer on Football Sunday for wings and fries and this beauty didn't disappoint. Pictures coming soon after we clean up the dust.

Center piece of our kitchen!

I wanted to really put this oven through its paces before writing a review. First off, the black stainless steel is beautiful. It does not show a single fingerprint and with a 2 yr running around thats extremely important. The feature takes a couple once overs to fully utilize all the different modes and settings. The cooktop provides a great variety of pot and pan sizes and the express cook is perfect for those quick boils during lunch. Inside the oven, the duo door feature is great on sundays to allow multiple food items heat up at once allowing for maximum football viewing time! The internal air fryer is a nice touch and allowed us to clear off our counter from that big clunky air fryer unit. I immediately hooked up to the wifi and being a samsung device user smart things was already builtin for easy control of the oven settings. Nothing like being able to preheat the oven from my man cave! I cant recommend this oven enough but its absolutely perfect for any size family!

the controls are easy to set and the double oven is extremely convenient when entertaining and preparing different dishes at different temps. air fryer tray is great for preparing large batches at a time. once we receive the backsplash it finish look.

Beyond Expectations!!

I received this stove in perfect condition and a great crew to deliver it. I immediately put it to the test and was greatly surprised at the perfect results in bake mode. I have since tested the air fry option along with the stove and do not have one complaint. Great color and I love the blue lights around the stove knobs. Easy to clean too!

pros. dual oven can turn into a full oven. this will be great esp for holidays. alexa connection and the air fryer. love being able to preheat or check cook time oven from my phone. cons. four manuals and none tell how to set up alexa or dual vs single oven features. went to samsung's product support to dig for it. four or five days later i pulled out the metal tray and the rest of the oven features showed up. im pretty techy and still challenging. the stove top will get stained i used cooktop cleaner and did not go away. overall it works great and i really love it!

This Samsung stove is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. The color is black stainless steel. It looks amazing in my kitchen. First, the wifi function with an app. Let's talk about that. You can preheat the oven from your app and it will be hot and ready with an app push notification when ready for use. Also you can monitor your cooking times with the Samsung SmartThings app. Oh and if you have a Samsung Television, that notification pops up on your TV. So cool. Another feature, Air-Fry. You can air fry from your oven. Imagine that. You do not need a separate device to clutter your kitchen. The air fry chicken comes out golden brown and tastes deliciously good. Now as far as setting the ovens, or the time or turning on the stove- it is super simple. The dials are also smart. The smart dials remember cooking patterns and cook accordingly. This is stove is genius.

Really wanted a double oven

I just got my new Samsung 6.3 cu. ft. Flex Duo™ Front Control Slide-in Electric Range with Smart Dial, Air Fry, & Wi-Fi in Black Stainless Steel unit on Saturday. Delivery was flawless. I had asked for just a drop off, but changed my mind and the nice men installed with no questions. My initial thoughts are positive. Oven controls are intuitive, and the stove burners have many options. I am replacing a newer glass top stove, and am excited about the looks of the Samsung. Have only made one pizza so far, but am looking forward to the air cooking mode as well as the flexibility offered by this unit. I will be hooking up the wifi in a few days, and will report then. Take a look at this beauty!

Great Stove/Oven

I got this Samsung range about a week ago. I have only used it a few times but so far I do like it. 1. The stove is really nice. I used to have the coil type burners and they were terrible. I will mention my old stove was super old. I do not believe it worked properly. This stove is great. The is actual temperature control. I cannot say its as great as gas being electric but its so much better than my old one. 2. The oven is good. I am not a huge oven user which is why I like the small oven idea that this has. It works well. I do have say, the smell is not excellent. We used the clean function and had to open every window in the house it was so bad. The second time we used it was to cook and it was still very strong. Hopefully this gets better with use quickly. The main thing to note is the dual oven idea has some slight draw backs for certain people. With the tray in, you cannot remote start the oven (we use Alexa). You also cannot go to the highest temp on bake with the two ovens. The door sticks a bit when open the large door, but that's just a function of it. Its not terrible but I can see friends and family having issues So overall I am please, specifically with the stove part. I just hope the heat controls last.

I absolutely love the oven so far, especially the fact that the stove top has two variable burners, one with three rings. For someone who frequently uses a wok or a large stockpot, it's a huge time saver. My favorite thing about the oven, however is the fact that the top half is convection, which cuts the time to preheat significantly, but also makes sure that cooking is done more evenly. Now we can join the next generation of cooking as I can use my smartphone to start preheating, get a notification when it's done. Something I'm absolutely in love with as simple as it is, is the fact that, when you set a timer, you can specify that the oven should either shut off at the timer or just keep going.

looks great and will look even better once the back splash comes in and installed. cooks very even in single and double mode. fan stays on to cool off electronics after using the stove. really isn't that loud. everything about it is top notch with the exception that it only has 2.4ghz for wifi and not 5ghz
