Bought an air conditioner and got it installed. Unit would not cool but everything else worked. After talking to LG on the phone for awhile they refused to honor their warranty and service the AC unit. The unit was brand new and I live in a major metropolitan area. Ill never buy LG again

It works alright but doesnt drain properly. You can hear the fan swirling in liquid upon start. Word of wise run just the fan at night for at least 6 hours on low to get rid of built up condensation/ water. That way when you run it during the day it doesnt start up completely drenched in water.

We had to order a new thru-the-wall sleeve and got the AC installed before the snow. Before wrapping the exterior we tested it and it works great. I really like the remote control.

This was a replacement for an older unit and I am amazed at the quick cooling. I have a cape cod home and this unit cooled my whole first floor on the lowest setting temp set at 67. I still need time to experience the other features as well as play with the temperature setting. At 67 degrees it was quite chilly. The volume is an acceptable level for me again a big improvement from my previous unit that was about 15 years old.

Weve had the LG through the wall air conditioner for a couple of weeks now. It arrived during the hottest 100+ degree Idaho temperatures. It has positively impacted our lives and our living comfort. We had tried another brand which failed shortly after their warranty expired replaced it with same brand which arrived in a damaged condition. Ordered the LG from Amazon and had great service and efficient cooling. Happy me.

I purchased the LT1430CNR last year and spent an enjoyable summer in the comfort of my air conditioning. This spring when I fired it off on slightly warmer than comfortable day I got a great deal of noise to the point where I had to leave the room because of this distraction and annoyances. I worked for quite a while at Pacific appliances a division of Best Buy and sold LG on a regular basis since I had no fear that it would come back to be a problem. This was the emphasis to buy an LG air conditioner I ran into the problem I asked for service even though I was just barely over the one year warranty. They had set up an appointment for 8 oclock the following morning which I thought was terrific except that when they got my new address in the little town of Minnesota they decided that they could service this because I was too far away with which necessitated me to purchase a new air conditioner with different brand to whether the heat. So now my LG sits in the second bedroom unusable and thoughts of putting it in my master bedroom are somewhat defeated two cents it is a 220 and I only have one tent available for me there. So disappointed in LG first of all for having a one year warranty on something that should be two seasons and second that they wont service me because I live in a small town so.
A little background might be helpful in that

Got a few months use out of it before it quit cooling and the dry mode quit functioning. Unfortunately we didnt write the serial number down before setting up the unit and they conveniently put the serial number where the unit goes through the wall so now we have to take the entire unit out to get the number. Company wont send anyone to service without the serial number first.
