LG Fridgerator Fraud

Air filter NEVER installed by factory. Discovered at 6 month date when LG alert received to replace the air filter. Purchased and then tried to put new 4 inch SQUARE filter into retaining bracket but discovered that instead of a square retaining bracket there was a trapezoid shaped plastic bracket which obviously prevented the square filter from being installed. A simple case of a defective part and a assembly line idiot who knew the issue and just ignored it. Foreign LG customer support is terrible and numerous silent periods followed by a disconnect. I guess the frustrating process is designed that way. Problem still exists with no help.

In March this year I bought an LG Counter depth French door refrigerator. I previously had a side-by-side different brand refrigerator. It was the difference between night day. The lighting was amazing I felt like it was a treasure seriously. Even though they were the same size the LG had so much more room plus the bottom drawer freezer held much more than I was expecting. It is very quiet keeps the food much longer. I am so pleased with it.

LG French Door Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator a little over a month ago when they had them clearance at Lowes. I was not a huge fan of the dual colored doors but the unit offers well appointed features: large capacity main cabinet filtered water and ice maker French style doors and temp controlled large bins in doors for optimal organization. These were all the features that I was looking for so I went ahead and made the purchase. After a month I can say that I actually like the knock knock: feature and dont really mind the dual colored doors. We initially had issue with some condensation on the inside of the door and the water not being cold enough from the dispenser but after turning down the cabinet temp a couple of degrees the temperature improved slightly - which is the only drawback of this fridge - the water dispenser where the cooling takes place is small - it only has about an 8 - 12 ounce capacity so that is the amount of water that gets cooled and actually comes out cold at a given dispense. After you dispense that amount you need to wait for a couple of hours for the next batch of water in the dispenser to get cold again. Not a big deal we just add ice to our larger containers however it would have been helpful to know this in advance so we knew that our new refrigerator was working properly

I have had this refrigerator for a couple of months now and I have really enjoyed it. It was a good way to move from my all black appliances and make the shift to stainless steel. The black unless tapped window makes that possible. We like the separate ice and water dispensers. I gave it four stars only because my last fridge started out great but by year 3 was almost useless. Ill have to see how this one holds up before I give it 5 stars.

LG has gained a ver happy customer Other than a rough start which was a Lowes thing NOT an LG thing I am really liking my new fridge. My LG MAX certainly lives up to its name: I have an enormous amount of usable space in both fridge freezer areas without sacrificing the built in look. The shelves compartments drawers are roomy once I moved a shelf it was customized to the exact specifications I wanted. I had to manually adjust the too cold temp but it was an easy process. The customer service support I received for my inquiries were quick thorough with a resolution. I am so pleased with my MAX hope I continue to be so. Bottom line: the MAX does what its supposed to do very well looks darn good sitting in my kitchen. No buyers remorse here

Looks nice but it died 2 months into use. Submitted a claim online and didnt hear back. Called them and was able to schedule a repairman a few days later. He updated the software and it started working again -_-. Basically the customer service isnt the best and the frig is temperamental.

This refrigerator has been a nightmare. First LGs delivery service kept delaying delivering my refrigerator by 3 weeks LG did compensate me a small amount for the delay. Then after 1 month of it being installed it stopped working. When I called to get it serviced I was told no one could come out for 6 days. This is the only refrigerator I have in the house so this is a huge inconvenience. LG was the only appliances I used to buy but now I will not buy another LG product ever again.

My refrigerator was dying and I had to get one quick. The one I wanted was not available so I had to make compromises. I wanted the glass door that opened but I only got the knock-knock light feature. I wanted water outside the door but it is in the refrigerator and it is ok but I like not having ice in the door. I have been using LG products primarily for over 3 years. All my major appliances are LG all with no problems whatsoever. I am moving to another home and buying all new LG appliances. 1st to arrive was the 27 cu ft Refrigerator with the smart door knock twice it lights up. Another cool feature is the internal filtered water dispenser located in the left inside sidewall ice maker is in the freezer but it is controlled inside the right wall of the fridge. No wasted space. it works great and no space is taken in the door. The Inverter technology is so quiet I never hear it running. I highly recommend the LG product line. I have a new top control dishwasher already installed. Tomorrow my new slide in stove arrives. Fun times at my home

You really dont need to see into your fridge

We bought this fridge thinking that it would be some sort of magic miracle. But its a refrigerator. And in less than one year the freezer has gone haywire and the wires on the freezer drawers have broken. We are on week two of waiting for a repair. Not sure it was worth all the money we spent. It also feels a little inefficient because you have to open the door and hold it open every time you get water and to open the long drawer on the bottom you have to open both doors.

Disappointing purchase

Plenty of room and looks very modern. Was happy with the purchase when I got it delivered and started using it. Within two months the freezer started to create problem. Freezer wont lock and seal properly. Causing the air to leak and subsequent over cooling and for an ice all around the freezer. Some time the icing was too bad that the entire freezer couldnt be pulled to open.

I am pleased with new LG refrigerator and counter depth concept is new to me. I chose this due to the space availability in my kitchen. One more thing was new to me as well which is counter depth is the fridge without doors. Doors take additional space so being conscious of that is important as it may not still fit in some kitchens. Fortunately there was just enough space in my kitchen and I am able to keep this. I wish this came with water dispenser outside on the door but can adjust.

This refrigerator is counter depth and fits perfectly. The 4 doors make storing liquids a breeze. We had a counter depth refrigerator prior and it did not have the capacity of this. The set up for all items make organizing quite easy. Lastly the ability to see inside without opening the door is a wonderful feature. As for the freezer it has two shelves again making organizing the ice cream and vegetables easy. All I can say is thank you LG for designing a refrigerator that satisfies all needs

The misses likes the knock-knock feature of this fridge and the storage capacity is larger than we imagined. Amazing amount of room bother in the refrigerator part and the freezer. Water Dispenser Dripping

I bought this about a month ago. Two Technicians have been out to address the water dripping from the water dispenser inside the left side door which we have to wipe up 3-4 times a day. First one said our water line was too long second one said our water pressure was too low. I would be happy turning this feature off yet that is not available unless I choice not to use the ice maker. Other than the drip issue the appliance has been working well. The LG refrigerator that we replaced was connected to the same water line and did not have a drip issue. Any suggestions on how to solve this are welcomed.

Lots of space

I bought this great refrigerator about 3 weeks ago from Lowes. I was very pleased with the amount of room in both the refrigerator and freezer sections. The door shelves are sturdy and deep. Everything is easy to see because of the good lighting and clear shelves.

Uneven French Doors

Although its a good fridge as far as keeping fresh food cold and frozen food frozen not happy at all with the uneven french doors. The unit comes with two little metal C-shaped spaces to insert under right door hinge to elevate right door to make it even horizontally with the left door which has been adjusted to its lowest position. The right door is still a good quarter inch too low. Still waiting for an LG technician to come out to fix. It they cant fix it will be returned.

I bought this LG a month ago and its great. My son loves that you can tap and see inside. For a mom that cant stand people to stand there with the doors open its a win for me lol. I will say the view is limited to only what is on that side and if you have a lot on the door you cant see well inside to see what you have. So I try to put things on that side that my son would be looking for. Ive always wanted to have a freezer at the bottom and its so worth it. You will need a scoop for your ice since it doesnt have one but think anyone looking for this style will love it. Lets not forget the in refrigerator water. I like room temp water so having a water pitcher isnt something I would buy but inside the refrigerator on the side has a button for those that like fresh cold water. I thinks is so cute and easy access. My cousin as visited my new home and loves it so much that he has decided to get him one. He is an engineer so he likes anything geeky and technology.

I love this fridge

I have had this fridge for 3 weeks and it is very easy to manage my refrigerated items. I was concerned about temp fluctuations with opening both doors so I bought a separate thermometer for fridge and freezer and have been very pleased with how well average temp is maintained. Cannot comment on water and ice as we have turned off those features.

I purchased on January 6 and I am very pleased with my new LG 27 CU. FT. SMART INSTAVIEW COUNTER-DEPTH FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR. It is a great addition to my kitchen and I love the modern look. The InstaView feature is great for quickly seeing what I have in the fridge without having to open the door. I also like the Smart Cooling Plus system which helps keep my food fresh for longer. The shelves are adjustable so I can customize the space to fit my needs. The refrigerator is also very quiet which is a nice bonus. All in all Im very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it to others.
