This refrigerator is very nice . It is a downgrade from my prior LG buts also $1000 less so thats expected . It does roll out when I open the freezer drawer so I will say the rollers are very good for loving it around . Im hoping to figure out how to keep it put . All in all very nice as expected . Water pours fast in the fridge which is nice . Finish is lovely .

I bought another LG fridge only because the salesman claims LG has fixed the compressor problem that went out on my previous fridge after only 6 years. Also the left door does not open all the way if there is a wall on the left side of the fridge. Lowes delivered the fridge 24 hours after I bought it.

This refrigerators compressor went in 8 years. We thought it was the ice maker since the readout on the door said the freezer was -4 and the refrigerator temperature was 34. Everything defrosted and we lost a ton of food. I would not recommend buying LG

Had it for just three years before the compressor failed. It would have cost me more to replace the compressor than to purchase a new refrigerator. This is a poor quality product I would not recommend to anyone.

Refrigerator failed within a few years and we lost all of our food and medication. For the price paid expected it to last much longer. Repair process seems lengthy and inconvenient. Hoping future models are built without these issues. Our other LG appliances have lasted a while and we are happy with those.

Bought in 2017 have had issues with the ice maker off and on for the last 3 years. Just had 2 major components replaced because fridge and freezer both stopped cooling. Decent fridge but would probably avoid the ice dispenser in the door in the future.

I previously owned a similar counter depth LG frig and it had a much better interior design that this one. There is no covered top shelf inside the right door and the right door shelves are limited in placement meaning theres only 1 shelf for taller bottles. That door also doesnt open far enough to allow the drawer to be removed so when I need to clean it Ill have to empty and remove the shelves above to get the drawer out. None of the drawers have humidity controls thats a bummer. Speaking of shelves there is also no split shelf which I had used in the past. There are no cool interior blue lights which I didnt know because the frig at Lowes wasnt plugged in. The freezer only has a single top interior drawer the previous one had two. On the plus side I like the no fingerprint exterior finish and the design of the indoor ice and water is better. It no longer has a stainless plate that was easily scratched. If I hadnt been desperate for a new frig that could be delivered in two days I would not have bought this one.

The compressor went out after 4 years and had to be replaced. A year later there was a problem with the cooling and the refrigerant had to be replace. It was very difficult dealing with LG customer service.

I have had this product for 8 years. Four years ago due to a design flaw ice formed behind one of the vegetable drawers and resulted in failure of a fan and stopped the refrigerator from operating. Thawing of all the ice was the quick fix. Two years ago the same thing happened and a panel was replaced with a new design panel. This year the compressor failed. The repair was very expensive.

We bought the fridge based on the recommendation from a friend. The fridge had issues which we kept on ignoring till one day it stopped making ice. We spent countless hours researching the issue and also tried various options to repair the ice maker. After this the food in the LG refrigerator was getting bad and we were not able to figure out what was the issue. The fridge was making noise and since it was winter months it seemed cold but actually there was not enough cooling. When called the LG customer care they misguided me for a repair. When the tech arrvied to check the fridge he told me that he cannot gurantee that it can be repaired and indirectly told that LG is aware of issues with this model. They charged me for tech visit and also told that the repair is only guranteed for 3 months. We should have not done the service and paid the hefty fee. We bought a new refrigerator and when the delivery person tilted the fridge to haul away a black oily liquid came out of the fridge. It damaged my hardwood floors. Even the delivery guys were surprised and said they have not seen anything like this before. Overall the ownerhsip of this LG refrigerator was a not a good experience and have left a bad impression about the LG brand. I hope LG proactively recall bad products as soon as they realize it.

We were really happy with this product until about a month ago. It had the all too common compressor issue. LG covered the part but I was stuck paying over 600.00 in labor costs. The new compressor lasted 4 days before dying as well. That one was replaced free of charge but who knows how much life is left in this new compressor. Is it 5 days or 5 years? Time will tell

The fridge worked well for a few years but now cools very unevenly range 30 to 50 F even with the fridge temp set to 34 F. I cleaned the coils unplugged it to reset it but it still doesnt seem to hold its internal temperature well. I called a few LG repair companies who told me that they dont service LG fridges over 5 years old because they are too problematic.

I am not so happy that I bought this refrigerator I like the features but the compressor failed. After a lot of phone calls to repair technicians they did not wanted to touch it. Finally I call LG and they did a great job sending someone to repair it had to wait 2 weeks.

This is my second LG French Door fridge. The first a 2016 model quit in 2020 and LG would not fix it because they had no authorized repair company near me. My dealer made me a good buy on a 2020 replacement. Its compressor quit in 2023. LG did repair it under warranty after two weeks without refrigeration but Im no longer an LG fan. Our washer/dryer range and the televisions are LG and they have been flawless. But the refrigerators are another story.

Bought this refrigerato 8 yrs ago. Have had a couple of service calls on some drainline freezeups. However. the most prominent issue became a 100 compressor failure. Much to our surprise. After checking LGs customer support line we found out they were honoring a class action suit on that compressor for a 10 yr period beyond purchase date. So needless to say we were offered free parts and would only have to pay for service to install.
Kudos to LG for taking on that responsibility way beyond the normal. THANKS

I loved our LG fridge until it died. It damaged our floors. We lost groceries. It is covered under warranty but the warranty claim takes too long 4-8 weeks and they put in the same subpar compressor that will fail again. We cant live out of a cooler for this long and we have to buy a new fridge not LG. Absolutely do not recommend LG fridge. There was one class action lawsuit already for compressor issues and there is another one in the works.

While this refrigerator can do the job of keeping your foods cool I found it doesnt have enough room in the freezer department. Its more an apartment type of unit where you dont have space. Dont buy for a house maybe a small house about apartment size. Also make sure the center piece does deploy when you close the doors otherwise you will have problems down the road with replacing the fan

Had this installed well a couple of years ago and soon after the light inside wasnt coming on and the dispensers didnt work. Called for service and was informed that it was in sabbath mode. Unfortunately it has gone into sabbath mode many times on its own and has still not been repaired. LG says that issue is not under warranty any more. Hello This was reported to the service company many times since it was new well within the warranty period.
I have another LG refrigerator in a house in Charleston the compressor failed at under 3 years. Fortunately it was covered under warranty but I had to buy the tenants a temporary refrigerator for use during the 2 weeks it took to be repaired. Also the fee for the initial service call was never refunded.

We have had our LG for 7 years. In that time period we have had it repaired 6 times - meaning having to defrost prior to repair visit losing food time in the process. I will never purchase another LG product and have advised my contacts to do the same.
