I have had this oven for about 3 months now. The 5 burners on top work great. The issue we have is with the oven. It will light initially and get up to temperature, but then when the temperature inside drops, it won't reignite again. The temperature on the screen shows your set temperature, but not the actual temp inside the oven. We have had a few ruined meals from this not keeping temperature. So we have to babysit our oven now, and keep turning it off and on to have it reignite to hold temp. Very frustrating, and we have a service ticket put in. We will see what happens.

Switching from electric (same Whirlpool model) to natural gas. Have always loved gas vs. electric. Last gas stove we bought new was a Maytag, but some of the paint peeled and they wouldn't warranty it. Ready for YEARS of service from our Whirlpool.

Hard to keep the stove top clean!

Bought this and paid extra for the convection feature. I have to buy a thermometer to check the temperature accuracy of the oven because it seems to take a long time to cook things.
Has a couple of hot spots but baked great cupcakes with the convection oven. The black stovetop is a nuisance to keep clean. The knobs/dials are plastic and are not easy to take off to clean and every little smudge shows up on the black. The burners are made lightweight and if anything spills on them it is very difficult to make them look new and clean again. I am unsure if any other stove made in 2019 would be much better. The true test in today's world is how long it will last. If it self cleans good and lasts long I will add one more star.

This oven had great features but cleaning the inside of the oven is so hard as well as cleaning the grates and the surface, i have tried so many products just to clean it but it didnt works, now im trying to contact whirlpool and see if they can replace the grates or if they sell just the grates.

Replaced a 60 year old gas cooktop
That still worked and a aged and small built in oven This was a good choice so could have a usable oven. I turned the oven space into a microwave space and lower part with the doors from the cabinet under original cooktop for cookware storage that was lost by the new range. Wish I had done this years ago

We have only had it for 30 days and this is actually to new for a very good evaluation of this range, but initially, it is exactly what we wanted. Price is fair, functions and features are excellent.although I have not had the opportunity to use all the features at this time.

I've had my range for about a month, and I am so pleased with the many features it offers. I love the convection feature as well as the wick preheat, frozen bake feature, and the great control of heat when used no the cooktop. I would have rated five stars but I feel the bottom drawer is very flimsy.

3 months ago , I very much support American products and will pay extra
Just recently I went to turn the burner on and the stem control became hard to turn and then jammed , also which started leaking gas .
It became unable to operate after maybe 20 turns on and off .
That's a part that should never need to be replaced, for any stove manufacturer if
the Company can't make at least the burner controls fail safe that's embarrassing.
I could understand that maybe a knob cracks after several years or abuse
We have had stoves not many, but when this happened and believe me this wasn't a low priced economy oven .
If whirlpool can't afford to make a range at $1800 charge more $2200 .
That may seem crazy but knowing where supporting American workers , what goes around comes around, the economy is doing great .
We didn't need a range , we had a 10 year old kitchen Aide .
I wanted to update to a convection oven and we feel fortunate that where doing well
and can make what we thought was a valued decision.
Don't let quality like this undermine a company like Whirlpool.
So to make a long story short we scheduled a service call and I explained what happened and made appointment on line .
3 days later received a phone call saying the part wasn't in stock would need to reschedule 10 days later from original 8-30 to 9-11 which we needed to schedule
9-14 due to the fact being a Saturday.
Again very disappointed after getting rid of a oven that worked to one that doesn't.

Our new stove and microwave were just installed on 8/5/19. We are happy with the sale prices and love the look of the oven. It is so professional looking and although we have not yet used the oven part, the top burners heat fast. A must to keep the black porcelain clean and shiny is to use the Affresh wipes. Oil/Grease may smear so we like it clean. The microwave is nice too. Only wish it was a brighter stainless steel look and the cavity bulb needs to be brighter, way to dull.

Thoroughly enjoying my new Whirlpool range. I appreciate the burner knobs being higher and out of reach of my day care toddlers. Also the extra space from front to hot pots and pans is another safety feature. I bought it for the looks of the full top grates but it is packed full of features I have yet to explore!

We bought this a month ago and have been extremely happy. Though some complain the bigger stove top burners are on the front - they should be. The continuous grate allow for more cooking room. The knobs on top help prevent you bumping into them and accidentally turning them on. The oven is wonderful too allowing perfectly cooked meals that are cooked evenly. My husband is a retired chef and says this is the nicer gas range with convection that we have ever owned - and it is our 3rd one. The grated lift up for easy cleaning but most cabinets are too low to allow them to rest on the wall behind the stove, however they are easily detached for complete removal if needed. For those that need to convert to propane, they conversion kit is included and the directions are very thorough allowing you to do it yourself if needed. We also caught a holiday sale saving $100's of dollars on the purchase price
